Summertime!!
It already smells like summer on these latitudes... (sigh) We're not sure if you like it, but WE LOVE SUMMER. Days are longer, and it seems that the routine gives us a break and leaves us a little more time for recreation, which of course in our case we prefer to spend in our favorite hobby :)))

Handley Page Victor K.2
The Handley Page Victor K.2 is a British jet bomber manufactured by the Handley Page Aircraft Company which entered service during the Cold War. It was in service in the Falklands War and in the Gulf War as a tanker for in-flight refueling. A gorgeous flying machine that GWH now offers us in 1/144 scale.

Freeezing!!!
It's cold outside, freezing cold, winter has fully developed in Europe and a cold wave is striking hard on the continent. It's better not to go outside... Great!!!! :D

Grumman F-14A Tomcat
The F-14 began to replace the F-4 Phantom II in service from September 1974. Since then and during the 70's it was the main long-range heavy fighter plane, aerial superiority and tactical reconnaissance of the US Navy.

Flight 2017
Ladies and gentlemen, Flight 2017 with service to the next 365 days is ready for take-off. The Captain and the entire crew thank you for choosing Aeronautiko airlines. We hope you have an pleasant flight, and enjoy the multiple new challenges, juicy news and novelties and the thrilling new projects you will find at your destination, and spend countless hours gluing parts together ;)

Merry Christmas!
The whole Aeronautiko staff wishes you a Merry Merry Christmas, and mostly a happy return to normality after the many festivities... which will allow you to spend your time doing what you really love with a passion: building scale models :)))...

Cybermonday!
Yes, Cybermonday is here again, and of course, we want to celebrate it with you one more year. So let's toast for health and for the discounts we offer you ;)

Acrysion
This is the ultragalactic name used for renaming the new Mr Hobby acrylic range paints (usually known by many of us as "Gunze"). We've all known the "Aqueous" range for many years, that rendered so great results with both brush and airbrush, but times change and products evolve and that's exactly what happened with Mr Hobby acrylic paints.

Fw 190 A-5
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 Würger is a German World War II fighter plane designed in the late 30s, powered by a huge radial engine. In particular, the A-5 version differed from previous designs in the engine placement, offset forward to restore the position of the gravity center, and 723 units were built: fighters, night fighters, ground attack, etc.

Mirror, mirror...
All we airplane scale modelers have been more than once in front of the mirror saying that line "Mirror, mirror, what is the best chrome paint for my little airplane...?"

Decal-glue
Legend has it that occasionally, mainly when you are assembling old scale models and after getting all decals in place... they fall off, peel off and detach magically from the model after a few days! Panic seizes the modeler-victim, biting the tongue so you don't hear the screams from 50 miles away...

Holidays!!
Remember that, during August, here at Aeronautiko we will mix both holidays and work. What does that mean? It means that we will keep on working, you will be able to place orders or ask anything you need via chat or email, but shipments will only be made on certain dates, grouping them in two or three shipping batches along this month.
Relax and enjoy Aeronautiko holidays :D...

Relax...
Here comes the frightful month of August... If you've ever been at the south of Spain during these dates, you'll know why is there the "frightful" adjective. It's hot, reaaaaaally hot, paint dries IN the airbrush, decals are just impossible to place unbroken, and all because this climate invites only to one thing: relax. The caribean spirit embodies everybody, and everything gets slowed down ;)

Saab Draken
It's not a dragon, it's not a kite: it's the Saab Draken, a gorgeous combat aircraft built in Sweden for more than 20 years, recognizable by a double delta wing configuration allowing to reach transonic speeds while providing great low speed maneuverability.

Grumman A-6 Intruder
The Grumman A-6 Intruder is a twin engine medium wing attack aircraft designed by Grumman Aerospace, in active service from 1963 until 1997. Several specialized brands in scale modeling have set eyes on this gorgeous aircraft for several years, with Trumpeter being the last of them.

Assembly Instructions
Because we love this hobby. Because we focus on being something more than just another scale model shop. Because everyday we rack our brains to improve and give more and better services to our customers, this is, to you... ;) For all these reasons and a few more, we have just started a new section in our website: Assembly instructions.

Refressssshhhing...
At the South of Spain, where we belong, things are starting to heat up... more than a little bit ;)
That's why we want to show you on this week newsletter our most refreshing novelty: the Revell 1/72 scale model kit of the Canadair CL-415, and the decals by Series Españolas of the Spanish Air Force units....

There is no more room here!
Thanks to you all, Aeronautiko doesn't stop growing and there is no more room in our warehouse, not even for one more decal sheet... :D
So next May 23rd, 24th and 25th all our warehouse staff will be enlarging it and reorganizing all our current stock, and they won't be able to package your shipments.

In their flying machines...
Yes, those brave heroes of the aviation jumped in their flying machines without any safety measures, not only for flying but for fighting a war. When you really think about it, one can only feel admiration for those pilots, their courage, their skill, their endurance, admiration for those fragile linen cloth and thin steel wires machines which barely had a compass and an artificial horizon.

The ultimate interceptor

The plane that changed the whole game
World War II was coming to an end when the Messerschmitt Me 262 first engaged into combat, and it changed the whole game. It was the first jet powered combat plane in history, and although it didn't really change the outcome of the Great War, it definitely marked a turning point in air combat.

Love at first sight!
That is exactly what we felt here at Aeronautiko when we saw these Great Wall Hobby kits. Thing is that they simply have that mesmerizing perfection when you stare at their details, their fittings, their plastic injection technology... even some of the crew dream with them at night!!!! Those finishes! Those details! ... Those feelings that you need to build them all!!!

Eduard strikes back
Eduard next releases are now in our website!!! These guys keep surprising us with their new parts and their quest for perfection. Just have a look at the new photoetched parts, at the incredible Bf 109 G-6 engine, at the missiles, at the machine guns... they will blow up your mind just like ours.

"Con-decorated" planes
Military aircraft decoration started right from their early stages. Examples of it are known from even before the World War I, and even today we can see them in both modern civil and combat planes....

2016 Leganes Contest
Aeronautiko staff will be attending this weekend the sixth edition of the Static Modeling Contest holding at Leganes, an ever growing meeting year after year. Almost 20.000 participants attended in 2015, making it one of the most interesting appointments of the European scale modeling agenda....

Powerful information
One of the key factors for a successful combat operation is having good communication between all involved parts: pilot, intelligence, command center, ... Only having all necessary information in every moment they can take the best decisions for each scenario...

Who likes Mosquitos?
For most of them mortals, a mosquito is an unbearable insect that makes a lot of noise when flying and gives annoying bites. But, for us scale modeling connoiseurs, a Mosquito is a gorgeous British war machine participating in the World War II, and here's our little tribute :)

Dassault Mirage III
Supersonic, reliable and high performing, Mirage III has given a great service at several different air forces like French, Spanish, Brazilian, Israelite, Pakistani, South African, Swiss, Venezuelan, ... Such machine can't be missing from any proper modeler shelf or the catalogues of the best scale model manufacturers.

Welcome to our birthday party!
Today is exactly our third birthday!!!, but it feels like it was yesterday when Aeronautiko took off, right? So, from now until 23.59 hours on December 24th all your orders will include a little surprise :). Just because we want to celebrate it with you!!

Pearl Harbor
This week is the 74th anniversary of Pearl Harbor attack, the surprise military offensive that the Imperial Japanese Army executed against the United States Pacific base, changing the course of the World War II completely.

Get down to it!!
The 11th Wing of the Spanish Air Force, based at Morón de la Frontera, shares its operational base with the 496th USAF Squadron. The base currently hosts 18 units of the Eurofighter Typhoon and several P-3 Orion, but in the past the Mirage III reigned at the base, featuring their decals this week brought by the brand Series Españolas.

Unknown heroes
There is a huge list of unknown heroes in aviation world, whose great deeds are often consigned to oblivion. Same thing happens also in scale modeling world: all those decals, photoetched parts, resins, all those kits that we enjoy so much have been thought, designed and manufactured by people giving their best every day to make our hobby exist, grow and become even more interesting. They are our unknown heroes :)

I only wanted a scale model...
Our Boss only wanted a scale model for his birthday... and we gave him a Canadair ride!!! He couldn't believe it, just look at his face: it's wonderful to have dreams... and even more when they come true!! :)

Holidays!!!
No, we are not taking our holiday break because we are tired of building models... we do it to build even more!! With weather this hot here, we've seen that paint gets touch-dry in 3 seconds, coating is instantaneous, and we can build at least ten kits in 15 days. Awesome!!! :D So, this year shipping will stop from August 15th to August 31st (deadline for order delivery being August 14th 08:00 CET)......

Dive in!!!
Water always provides everyone a sensation of well-being, and if we are talking about water decals for our kits... even more!!! :D

It's summertime!
More fun, more temp... and more time to spend on your kits! Paint dries faster over the fuselage, decals are placed easier, and quietness lets you look forward to get on your kits :)

Look at that ass!! :D
C'mon, you have to admit it: modern fighter planes asses really turn you on. The guys at Aires know that very well, and do what we were all waiting for: the exhaust nozzles for the asses of the F/A-18, MiG-23, F-14 Tomcat, and the A-7 Corsair.

Behind the mask...
Quit thinking about it and just do it: behind the mystery of the masks hides the magic of the most realistic and gorgeous decorations... The thing is that using just decals, with their "silvering", their adjustment and grip problems, their decal liquid stains... it just doesn't look the same....

Strike!!!
Aeronautiko is back into the battle with a squadron of kits, masks and decals for the most adventurous modelers. We've brought kits for the F-15 Eagle, Ju188, A-10 Thunderbolt and the Eurofighter Typhoon by Hasegawa, all of them in 1/72 scale and at the lowest guerrilla prices. They're gonna fly!!

Aeronautiko Bunny!!
As you know, a few days ago we went to the Czech Republic to visit Eduard factory, and it was definitely THE TRIP that every scale aircraft modeller should do once in a lifetime.

XMAS Catobaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrr!!!!
As you all know, Cybermonday will be next Monday, after Thanksgiving, meaning that at the flight deck everything is ready for taking off to Christmas. Of course, Aeronautiko won't miss this flight! :) BUT......

BIGGGGGGGG ED MiG
Aeronautiko airstrip is crammed these days with the arrival of plenty of fresh, very fresh and very interesting Eduard material. The cargo includes, among many others, BIG EDs for the glorious Tamiya P51 and Corsair in 1/32 scale, two awesome kits to keep in mind and that sure you'll want to detail to the max. They trully deserve it!!

Smokin' Hot!
We've just received a huge shipping from Eduard, and sincerely the only way to describe them is... smokin' hot!! Once again, Eduard drops our jaws with so much beauty and accuracy that immediately reminded us the Red Arrows on duty, with tolerances of just a few centimeters in several kilometers, and an absolute acrobatic beauty :D

Green light FUJIMI!! :D
Are we all back from holidays? Yes, we're back too, with some more load in our bellies, some nice weathering effects on our skins and our fuel tanks fully loaded for the next season :) And of course, we've also brought you some holiday presents: they're mandatory, aren't them? :D

Closed for holidays from August 9 until 29!! :D
That said... don't make many models without us! ;)...

Scaled down prices! :D
Among the three usual scales in our airplane modeling world, our favourite is 1/48: it allows you to achieve highly detailed pieces, and once the kit is finished... there still room in the display cabinet for many many others! :D

Welcome again, Mig Jimenez !! :D
A few weeks ago, we were telling you that the AMMO Mig Jimenez product ranges were available at Aeronautiko's shelves. The response have been so good and your demand so big that we've had to make some room to include even more references :D

Welcome Mig Jimenez !! :D
Everybody knows that, here at Spain, we have great wines, delicious food and gorgeous women. But not only that, we have a lot of other excelent assets, such as our scale modellers. Amongst all of them, there are several worldwide recognized experts, such as Mig Jimenez.

Fast and VERY VERY low!!!
Many of you where asking for it, and after countless meetings with our providers... we finaly got it! :) From now on, our shipping at Aeronautiko is just like that: fast and very very low, so you can skip the radar of what keeps you from making your dreams come true ;)

Perfection lies in the details :D
If I were building an Messerschmitt Me262, I wouldn't try anything else: I'd use the spectacularly painted photoetches from Eduard. And they're even customized for the different kits on the market! Are you going to resist the temptation? :D

Newsletter 016
Once again, you're lucky!! From the acrylic and metallic paints range from Mr Hobby, already used by many of you to give your planes even more realistic finishes, Aeronautiko has just added the Aqueous range base colors, as well as the main Mr Metal metallic tones. Even more, and comming from the civil vehicle modelling, the super interesting metal finishing products from Mr Metal, perfect for the pannels of the American planes during the World War II.
